BD Ripper (3D Plus) Licensing Question

I have a lifetime BluRay Ripper license and wanted to rip a couple TV shows I have on DVD. It looks like I have to purchase an entirely separate license to do that. Is this correct? Is there any kind of upgrade code to add that feature on?
