DVD Ripper Quicktime Won't Play It?

Went from Blu-Ray to mp4 and file is created but my Quicktime Crashes when it tries to play it. I have done several Blu-rays with the same exact results. It plays the DVD rips just fine.

    Any clue?

Is there any particular reason why you're using QuickTime player? Because if it's the Windows version, it's pretty weak as a video player!

AC-3 audio crashes it on mine, just a dialog box with a numbered error.

From what I remember, support for AC3 is possible but you have to include a mandatory AAC stream too. The AAC stream also has to be muxed as the primary/default audio stream.

Even then, if the mux has not been generated in a way QuickTime Player likes, it will be rejected
