Hi. Totally 'brand new' to this. Have messed with DVD Fab in the past and am interested in possibly buying the program. I just DL'd the most recent version and have a Motorola Droid I'd like to reduce some of my movies to to watch them on it. So I followed the advice of one of the mods here and converted Aliens to a file first and THEN to the mobile file. Tried and tried and it keeps popping up 'unsupported file' on the VOB's. not all of them but enough to screw up what I'd like to do. Out of six,I might get one or two that make it through ok but chopped shows are not my idea of fun viewing. I've tried several times to no avail. I'm attempting a direct from DVD to mobile now,see what happens. The disc is clean so have no clue what's happening. Is it a copy protection deal that's throwing a wrench in the works? It seems to pop up diff VOB's each time I try to get it done,which 'aren't supported'. Strange. Thanks for any help. Also this isn't the 'registered' product just yet as I'm trying it out to see if it does the trick for me before buying. Is that the problem,that it isn't registered or something? I just DL'd it yesterday.
