Other Cannot Convert on Windows 10, CUDA and 9.2.0.8

Trying to just recode (converter) an .avi file to .mkv but it doesn't matter what format to what format I try, it's all the same result

I'm now seeing a number of problems:
    1. Importing the file now takes two attempts most of the time. The first time will go through the little progress display but will not add the file to the task list. The second attempt will usually get it there. This includes dragging and dropping it to the DVDFab window.

    2. After the file's added to the task list, the "File Name" and "Resolution" fields show up blank on most. Some files the resolution shows 2x2.

    3. The Format settings window is completely garbled now. See below.

    4. Starting the Conversion process as is will immediately fail. I have it set for two-pass and the first pass fails within a few seconds of starting the Conversion. Changing to one pass doesn't affect the outcome.

    Similar issues

I am struggling to import the files at all - have only managed to do it successfully once and then got the same garbled Format Setting window you got...

Have also recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro from 8.1 with NVidia 550Ti

It should be caused by the same issue in this thread.

      Please check it.

          Did you try this?
          - delete all DVDFab9 files under C:\Users\User name\AppData (it's a hidden folder)\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\DVDFab 9 and then reinstall?

            Resolved with update to 9.2.0.9

Strange. I'm subscribed to the thread, yet I only received a notification about the first response.

Sorry all, I didn't even know about your responses.

I just got the update to 9.2.0.9 and the issues are all resolved now.
Importing works, advanced settings window fixed, conversion is happening (so far)
