BD Ripper (3D Plus) Audio Encoding problems from v9219+

Starting with version 9219, all of my Blu-ray mp4 rips, audio stopped working on my Pioneer player. DVD rips still pay fine, but Blu-ray plays with no audio.
    VLC still plays audio fine.
If I take the DVDfab rip, and reprocess it with Handbrake, then the Pioneer plays it fine.

Version 9219 and every version since has same problem, so some change in that version caused it to stop working. I hope this can be remedied in future version.

What audio stream output are you selecting using DVDFab?

Everything in the audio section says "same as source"

Well that should work. Do you have MediaInfo so you can check one of the files that does work? It will tell you what the audio is that does work. It's free just google it and download it.

It looks like passthru is DTS, and DTS started showing up in rips on 9219.
I can only guess that the Pioneer doesn't handle DTS (it is a car system).

So, should change default audio encoding to AAC? If so, what are the recommended AAC settings?

Try AC3 first, fewer sync problems for me and that is standard stuff.

I tried both AAC 5.1 and AC3 5.1 and they both caused DVDfab to crash as soon as the ripping started. I submitted the error report.

I just tried a BR with DTS audio and changed it to AC3 5.1 and it worked great. I have this box checked:
