dvd to mobile - no audio

I am trying to convert DVD to MP4. Everything seems to convert as planned. I do not get any error messages. When I try to view the movie on my Droid, I have a perfect picture but no sound. Any ideas?

Not many details.

First check that the mp4 has sound by playing it on VLC or QuickTime. If it does then maybe it does not support the sound format. I had this problem on another phone and I used the mp4/aac profile.
