Please don't take this as a complaint, I'm just curious.
I was wondering why DVDFab's H265 encoder appears to be approximately 3x slower than the Handbrake encoder. Both are set to decode and encode using software (cuda support quit working for me ages ago.) Handbrake can hit 15 fps and DVDFab can hit 5 fps. This is a significant difference when you consider it takes DVDFab 8 hours to code a movie and Handbrake 3 or so. All the settings are similar for both encoders on my i7 powered processor with 16 GB ram.
Any insight on how I can speed up the DVDFab process would be appreciated. Thanks.
