BD Ripper (3D Plus) H265 Intel Quicksync Problems

    Hi,

using H265 conversion with Intel Quicksync support on an Intel Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4GHz (no OC). Results in non-playable H265 file while a conversion H264 with same settings works.

The exact CPU processor is Family 6, Model E, Stepping 3, Revision R0. Mainboard is an Asus Z170-A.

Having this problem with current v9 and v10 (last try with v10.0.1.3).

I am using the default MP4 settings but changed from 1-Pass to CRF setting.

Independent of the source (DVD, BluRay, BluRay 3D) the conversion completes and the file looks OK. The log files look OK.

BUT the file will start to play and then stop after a few minutes. Trying to move around (e.g. chapter jump) also results in a freeze. I tried this with VLC and other players.

Doing the same with H264/MP4 and CRF results in a usable file.

1-pass and 2-pass work. so it is just the CRF option
