DVD Ripper Hanging around 5-10% done

I've tried registered Mac version and trial windows version, neither seem able to rip a DVD.

I cloned the DVD to my harddrive and tried ripping from the ISO.

I tried profiles for devices, mp4 profile, and mkv passthrough profile.

None of them seem to work.

Try doing a clean Uninstall of dvdfab.
      And reinstall.

Clean install of 9 (tried 10 earlier) has the same issue.

Had the same issue with case sensitive filesystem as before (had to copy/rename files in the .app/.../MacOS/ folder to lower case).

Installed 10 on a Mac with a case-insensitive filesystem, same thing.

            Hung at 13%.

Clicking preview I get "No preview since there is no re-encoding".

On the case sensitive filesystem / quadcore i7 mac fabprocess gets pinned at 100% CPU and never produces results (DVDFab 10).

On the case insensitive filesystem mac, its DVDFab that gets pinned at 100% CPU and never produces results (again, DVDFab 10).

Going to try beta version shortly.

Ultimately I had to use the free handbrake tool to rip the DVD in question.

I guess I should have tried that rather than spending $100s on DVDFab.
