New to DVD to Mobile(IPod)

I have just purchased the conversion software and I ran it. It looked good but nothing showed on the IPod. The source was the DVD and destination was the IPod(not sure if it should be some other location). It also ran for a couple hours but showed a successful finish. I am using DVDFab6(the latest version). Is there a procedure manual I need to read through? Please help if you can.

Hi Mike,

Please rip the dvd to your hdd first.
Then convert the files to one of the iPod profiles.
You will probably want to experiment with your settings for a bit to achieve the results you want.

Subsequent to converting the files, you will need to import the files into iTunes
You can then sync your iPod.
