    DVDFAB version 10.0.5.2

I updated my DVDFAB to 10.0.5.2 today and went to rip The Zoo Keepers wife failed to load into the updated version. Generally I place the Blu Ray in my computer and it automatically loads the disc into MKV rip, I select "forced Subtitles only" and "start. Today, it won't load. Here is the log:

Please upload the Fab internal log file for this disk it starts with fab version the last disk done is at the bottom of the list we don't need the whole folder.

Which log of the attached screen shot would it be. I've attached a zipped dvdfab_internal.log in the event that is the one. File was to big to send unless zipped.

The zipped fab internal was correct file but it had a years worth of logs in it you can delete it and start fresh also the last log in the folder can be cut and pasted into note pad and that uploaded as a attachment each log starts with the fab version if you delete all the files in the fab internal log and redo the disk then post just it's log file you will see what a single log looks like so you will know what to post in the future. The last log in the folder is the last movie you did when more than one log is in the folder.I see in your last log is short this may be cause it didn't complete can you do it over just to be sure after you delete the years worth of old log files and repost the new fab internal log. Thanks also check the disk is cleaned.

Well, I deleted the log and subsequently had to log back in with my username an password. After that I went to the website and downloaded that version (same one 10.0.5.2) and low and behold it worked. I wish I had an answer but at least you have the events above. Here is the log in the event it helps you. Thanks again, Flettster

Sometimes all it takes is a fingerprint on a disk or a speck of dust on the laser lens thats why I say clean the disk and try again looks like a good rip from the new log glad it's working now.

This is so true. I find this often with CD ripping. Even brand new disks sometimes won't rip properly, until I clean them. I suspect that the manufacturing presses may use some sort of lubricants that can leave a residue, and cleaning them off helps the laser read the disk better.
