Converts up to 20.56 % and stops, why?

Im trying to convert a file (movie) into a different file that my computer will play, I've tried converting it for ipod, to avi, etc. and still the same results. There is no error message, it just says Process Completed Successfully, which isn't true. Help!

Well what is the format of this file you are trying to convert?

The file is a "Video Clip (.avi)" and it's 701 MB

The file itself may not be compliant or poorly encoded.

Download and inspect it with MediaInfo to see what parameters have been used for encoding it.

BTW: discussion of pirated copyright material is against the rules of this forum so I presume that you obtained this file from a valid source.
