I bought a new Oculus Quest headset last week and decided to try and rip my 3D Blu-Ray discs. The Oculus resolution is 2560x 1440 (1280 x 1440 per eye). Ripping resolution is 1920 x 1080 (960 x 1080 per eye). This is 75% of the Oculus' resolution. I thought that would be okay but some of the screens are clipped top and bottom (faces cut off, etc.).
Also, I assume any 3D Blu-Ray disc that includes the Blue-Red glasses wouldn't give a 3D perspective since you can't wear the glasses when using the Oculus headset. Can anyone confirm this?
