Other Changing the files name

Wasn't sure if this belonged here or in General.

OK, so you know how when you create, say, an mkv, or any file type. Whenever you play the mkv certain players will tell you the name of the file when it starts. You can rename the mkv if you misspelled something in the title but when you play it it will still show the name that it was created with. Is there any way to change the "created" name without having to totally make a new mkv?

You can right click on the created MKV file, pick Properties and then rename it to the correct one.

That doesn't work though.

Say you create an mkv with the misspelled name "tets" instead of "test". You can rename the mkv to "test" afterwards yet every time you play the mkv it will still display the name it was created with, "tets", regardless of what you renamed it to. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to change the name it was created with without having to create another one because simply renaming the mkv doesn't work.
