output video bitrate smaller than specified

hi everyone, i am new here but have been using dvdfab for a while now with no issues. i am currently using v 6.0.7.0 and seemingly all of the sudden when i rip a dvd using avi.xvid.audiocopy the video bitrate is way smaller than the 2000kbps i am setting in the conversion settings. like i said this just started happening and i cannot seem to get it to do right. i have tried fixed bitrate and fixed filesize to no avail. i like creating good quality rips with video no less than 2000kbps and AC3 audio and was doing so consistently until recently. help?
