    DVDFab Blu-ray Recorder Ripper

    Just to reiterate DVDFab Blu-ray Recorder Ripper CANNOT rip or copy a Blu-ray recorded disc in it's native DR (Direct Record) mode due to the complex encryption.
    The recording has to be converted from the DR mode to a lower quality mode such as HQ on the Blu-ray recorder before burning to a disc and importing into the DVDFab Blu-ray Recorder Ripper software.
    This is true of all versions including the latest... Click image for larger version

          start dvdfab - click settings in the upper right hand corner of the dvdfab interface,
          click on drives - Hybrid disc - click enable Hybrid disc support, under the dropdown menu choose blue-ray
          retry the disc again. also is the disc finalized in the recorder ??

                No it isn't necessary to finalize a Blu-ray disc.
