Still have not been successful in processing Polar Express to PS3 without significant (2+ seconds) A/V lag. I have seen no improvement in this capability between the latest beta version of Fab7 and the first.
I have tried the default bitrate settings, intermediate and max (15k), one pass and 2 pass and the result is always the same; approximately 2+ second lag in the audio compared with what it should be. This movie uses the VC-1 codec. I have several other BR movies that use the VC-1 codec, and these are the only ones that I have yet to backup to my NAS as I'm awaiting for an effective way to do so given the format limitations of the PS3 with VC-1 codecs. Therefore, I am very much interested in this feature working.
Is this feature ever going to work properly or should I give up on it anytime soon? Also, I'm willing to try any suggestions that might fix the sync issue, but prefer only those by people who have had success versus random suggestions that have nothing to do with the problem. Processing takes a long time even on my quad core Phenom II.
Thank you,
