    recognizing 4K UHD discs

I have had a varied history of success with ripping 4k UHD blu ray discs. I have TWO BD-R drives (one LG and one Asus), both with UHD friendly firmware. It seems like every 4K UHD disc I try to insert nowadays is not recognizable, on EITHER drive. Standard blu ray discs and DVD's are fine. The latest disc I tried to insert was the 12 Monkeys 4K UHD with no go. Are some (many) UHD discs just unreadable, or are my drives to blame?

UPDATE... I purchased 3 4k blu rays... Waterworld, Fifth Element, and 12 Monkeys. Only The Fifth Element read and ripped properly, the other two were never recognized.

Please provide the DVDFab13.log file to us to look into it. Thank you.

Cleared log, inserted both uncooperative discs, re-loaded DVDFab, inserted both discs again... attached log file...
