    Format for Google Nexus One?

    Hi,
I've tried all possible settings, but I can't find a format where I can play movies on my Nexus One.

    It supposedly supports:

    Graphics, video and audio

    Audio decoders
    AAC LC/LTP, HE-AACv1 (AAC+), HE-AACv2 (enhanced AAC+) Mono/Stereo standard bit rates up to 160 kbps and sampling rates from 8 to 48 kHz, AMR-NB 4.75 to 12.2 kbps sampled @ 8 kHz, AMR-WB 9 rates from 6.60 kbps to 23.85 kbps sampled @ 16 kHz, MP3 Mono/Stereo 8-320 kbps constant (CBR) or variable bit-rate (VBR), MIDI SMF (Type 0 and 1), DLS Version 1 and 2, XMF/Mobile XMF, RTTTL/RTX, OTA, iMelody, Ogg Vorbis, WAVE (8-bit and 16-bit PCM)

    Image
JPEG (encode and decode), GIF, PNG, BMP
    Video
H.263 (encode and decode) MPEG-4 SP (encode and decode) H.264 AVC (decode)
    Audio encoders
    AMR-NB 4.75 to 12.2 kbps sampled @ 8 kHz

Please help. I've found videos on the internet which can be played, but I would like to be able to use my fantastic DVDFab and convert my own videos...

since you was able to download some from internet why not right click one of those files and select properties and then Details to find out what the Vidoe and Audio bitrate and other info needed is to make one that can play

The one which did work is called Ashes.To.Ashes.S03E03.272p.HDTV.H264.mp4

I opened it in Nero Showtime, which showed me (excuse the pun) that the audio was AAC 2 ch around 64 kbit/s, video 480x272 AVC varying bit rate around 128 kbit/s at 25 fps.

I tried to create a rip with similar setup in DVDFab (File to Mobile, using a small wmv file as source), but I never succeeded in playing the video...

Tested with another file, a Southpark episode. 480x272 AVC, AAC 2 channels sound. Works like a charm!

How can I make my own files which will work?

              bengt,
I just tried DVD to Mobile, Apple TV option with parameters set as in your MediaInfo file (the one that works for you), and here's what I've got. Looks identical. Sounds like Apple TV is best preset for you. Of course, you have to set variables for each movie. Good luck
