Trying to understand why an active discussion in the "DVD to Mobile Always get lag in audio" thread was closed? There is some constructive conversations going on there regarding a real issue with the current version but the thread was closed. Users were asked to start new threads. Why spread the same issue out to new threads when there was one already in progress? I don't get it. Thanks for any insight.

I closed that thread specifically because it was getting too long and unmanageable for the following reasons:-
1. It was over 5 pages and most users will not bother to browse through the full thread and therefore invaluable suggestions, etc are skipped over.
2. The developers will also have a similar problem gleaning useful information from such a long thread.
3. I am trying to get you guys to be more specific in identifying problem profiles. As far as I am concerned "DVD to Mobile does not work" is just not good enough.
4. I outlined these reasons in the last post in the thread.
5. I am absolutely convinced that:-
a) There are some problem profiles and want to really hone in on those rather than
the ones that do work.
b) There is some hardware/software/admin rights problems for a limited subset of users and this needs to be addressed as a separate problem.
I have made this decision as a Senior Moderator and based on my experience a long term user of DVD to Mobile and no further discussion will be entered into.
