DVD Ripper A/V Out of Synch

I am trying to convert a dvd movie by using DVD to Mobile option with the generic avi h264 audiocopy profile.

However, during the playback, the audio and video get out of synch. I read and used the Best Practice DVD to Mobile thread. Under the conversion settings, I had the fixed bitrate at 1100 and frame resolution at 720 like it was suggested. Are there any more settings I should change to correct out of synch problem? Should I use another conversion profile? I want to convert the main movie to a small unverisal file that will play on almost any mobile device. I am using 7.0.4.0 version of DVDFab.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    hope it helps

I had the same prob with Iron Man and transformers 1 while transformers two worked fine. what I had to do was use dvd shrink to burn the movie as an ISO file( heard you can do this with dvd fab also ) then burned the movies to mobile...it worked fine for me...wish it didn't have to be this way I just want it to work the first time.

      Check the frame rate

I've had problems in the past with A/V sync (progressively worse through the movie), but have found that if I drop the frame-rate down from 30 to 29.97, it fixes it... I don't know if this is a universal fix for the A/V sync issues but have found that it's helped me in most cases.

Yes this is happening to me too. I converted mortal kombat pal region to xbox360 and the audio is 2 seconds in front of the people actually talking i hope they fix this very soon. I did a hdd rip first. I used the 29.97fps. I have also tried the other 25 fps as well still no luck. version 6 was perfect so their is something wrong with version 7x onwards.

I would agree, but after returning to version 6 the problem still remains for me. Something is getting "switched" that affects earlier versions as well I think.
