    DVD to HD

    Hi

    Been having problems with the kids so I bought a Western Digital WD TV Live HD Media Player and want to put my DVD's on a hard drive so the kids can watch them and I dont have to worry about damaged or missing DVD's any more, what function would I use to copy the DVD to a hard drive and get good quality?

    DVDfab has so many options I have no idea what to use.

    I personally use DVD to Mobile, MKV option. It will give you your video in nice container that WD TV just love.

      I am pretty sure you would have to buy the DVD to DVD and also the DVD to Mobile modules

          Trying to reply to this post but it says I dont have permission


          Anyways I was thinking the MKV option too I was just worried about compatibility I know VLC media player likes the format..

          Anybody else?

              Yes, both VLC & the WDTV like the MKV format produced by Fab.
