BD Ripper (3D Plus) BD to WMV Skips and Freezes

I've been testing out the BD to Mobile option on a couple of my movies. I've been unsuccessful thus far and would like anyone's help/input. I just realized that it is not the most current version, so I'll be trying again tonight with the current version, however, here's what I'm seeing so far in case anyone has ideas:

The video when played locally on the computer will simply stop and freeze, and then jump ahead a few seconds. It will play again for a few seconds, only to stop and freeze again. Most of the time, the audio continues.

If played using Twonky streaming to an Xbox, the video is extremly pixilated. For example, in the movie "Cars", the scene jumps from the crowds in the stands of the raceway to the race track. In my streaming movie, the crowds become pixilated and a very pixilated car is seen driving out of the crowd! However, in the movie, the scene is a straight cut with no fade. This continues throughout the length of the movie.

The settings I am using are below:

    Version 7.0.4.0
    Source Files VOB
    Source Video Type AVC MPEG-4
    Source Video Resolution 1080p
Source Audio Type - Not 100%, but it says DTS-HD
    Profile XBOX 360.wmv.wma10
    Output Resolution 1920x1040
    Output Crop AUTO
Output Bitrate (Default) 9575 (However, I have tried other values as well)
Output Passes (Default) 1 (However, I have tried 2 as well)

    Hardware is as follows
    Intel Quad Core 2.83 Ghz
    4 Gig Ram
ATI Radeon HD 4800 (1 Gig)
    1 TB SATA HDD
    Windows XP Pro
No recent changes to anything - first time using Blu Ray version.

    Attached is the dvdfab_internal.log (Edited)

    Thanks for the help!

Just as an update - I tried again last night with the newest version 7.0.5.5 and had the same results. The two movies I've been testing are "Cars" and "Horton Hears a Who"

Has anyone seen this problem, or had a similar one? Is there any suggestions for going forward? I'd like to purchase the BD to Mobile, but am not going to until I'm sure it works appropriately... DVD to Mobile has worked out for me (with the exception of several audio sync problems), but BD to Mobile hasn't seemed to work yet...

        Geez jtrevill,
look at your parameters - you trying stream (I hope over wire) 1080 content with 10 Mbps to a joke like XBOX that can barely handle 720 (on newest models), with HD sound (+5 Mbps).... I will be freezing and choking too.... There probably three or more (if you streaming wireless) potential bottlenecks in your setup for this content.... I highly doubt DVDFab one of them.

It's actually a wired gigabit network... And the problem occurs when played locally on the computer as well. So, it appears to be a file problem rather than resource or bandwidth. I'm not asking for you to critique my hardware, only help with the problem. If I can get the problem fixed when playing locally, then I'll be satisfied and will deal with streaming.

I'm having all the same issues you are. I was able to rip Avatar to hard disk with the blue ray to blue ray option and then convert it to wmv with microsoft expression. It now streams to my xbox at 1080p across my 100Mbs ethernet without any problems.

I read somewhere that they are re-writing the x to mobile engine so you might want to wait and keep your eye on the beta area.

Thank you Happnatious! I figured it should work given at minimum that the above post says that on a 100 Mb network, the 1080 file as described is only using about 15% of the available bandwidth, and the file doesn't even work locally....

Thanks again...hopefully there is a resolution

anyone that can respond from DVDFab? Is this something that is a known problem that will be fixed in the upcoming update to the x to mobile engine?

I've found another piece of software that encoded it correctly, however, it is very poorly done, and hard to use. I'd rather stick with DVDFab than purchase MORE software, but if there isn't an ETA or any suggestions, I may just have to.

And in regards to the post regarding the capabilities of my hardware. It appears that it has nothing to do with my "JOKE" Xbox. Thanks for the waste of a post.

Any useful information is greatly appreciated.

                Thanks!

I'm a bit surprised that no one else has seen the sort of problems I'm having or that no one from DVDFab has any input. Is there anything I can do to help you help me? I thought I had posted all of the info you normally ask for.

I'd like to puchase this product to add to the other DVDFab products I have, but I won't until I'm sure I can get a working product...

                  Thanks in advance...

I'm a bit surprised that no one else has seen the sort of problems is that a clue? that is a key phrase.
Because it's your local problem, not DVDFab. And nobody would ever be able to help you if you wouldn't stop to be so stubborn and begin to listen.

Again, root of your problem is in your network/streaming arrangement. Something in your media streaming arrangement can't handle stream with this bitrate. It could be player, codecs player uses, router, name it, and you have to troubleshoot every one of them one-by-one. And guess what, problem would be the last one... as usual

I'm not trying to be stubborn. I consider myself a customer looking for support. I've seen numerous posts where people provide far less information regarding issues that aren't dvdfab's problems but still get help.

Regarding streaming, please refer back to my original post... I have the same problem when playing the file locally on a computer. In addition, I have used another piece of software and can play AND stream that file fine (as another user pointed out as well). I'm fairly technical .... And this pretty much points to dvdfab. Had anyone provided help, we may have been able to determine what problem, but instead i've been met with resistance and insults since my first post.

I am a customer looking for help, and expect better.
