BD to MKV file

Is it possible in a coming update to include an option from which you could choose to save the output to a MKV file instead of a m2ts file?

I tried with Blu-Ray to Moblie, but the aspect ratio was weird. I also tried with tsmuxer and mkvmerge, which seemed to work. But it would be much more simple and user friendly if this option was included.
My reason for saving files in mkv format is that I would like to stream them through my blu ray player (Oppo).

Not really. I would see this option in Blu ray to Blu ray.

What part of the software it is in would be a business decision. The feature exists, you can purchase it, it is not a feature request.
