DVD Ripper New guy has a problem

long story short, every movie I've converted to my cell phone jumps and freezes during playback.

I'm running windows xp and dvdfab 7, the cellphone is a Motorola Q9c. I used the cellphone option and set it to windows smartphone and didn't change any other settings. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

This can be caused by three things, all associated with the capabilities of your phone and all will cause "stuttering" as you describe.

You will have to research the specifications of your phone first then:-

1. Choose a resolution that is close to that of your phone.
2. Choose a bitrate well below the maximum bitrate that your phone supports.
3. If no luck with the above, try reducing the frame rate to 15-20 frames per second.
