    Advice needed for MKV conversion

    Hello:

I was wondering what is the best option to select for my needs? I am primarily converting MKV files to play on my 360 and media extender (dma2100). So far, the most compatible option I have found is to use the WMV9 format. No audio sync issues, picture and aspect are all good...The only problem is that it does not retain the 5.1 sound...it only allows for 2 channel sound.

Any recommendations as to what format i should try that would keep the 5.1 or dts track intact?

    Thanks!

Try the generic.avi.xvid.audiocopy and generic.avi.h264.audiocopy profiles.

Tried the generic.avi.xvid.audiocopy Worked well but a very slight audio delay on both the local machine and media extenders....
