BD Ripper (3D Plus) BluRay to Mobile (MKV) downsample HD Audio

I am using 7.0.7.0 and have Forest Gump BR. I am doing BR to MKV and am choosing the DTS-HD audio and checking the "Remove HD Audio" box. Everytime I try this it makes the mkv but it is still DTS-MA when I check in mediainfo.

How can I make DVDfab convert the audio to AC3 like ripbot does. Some movies I dont care about HD audio, like this one. On others, Avatar, I definitely like being able to have the HD audio.

Somone please help me. I love the new DVDFab if I could get this working.

    (1) I doubt that you still have DTS MA after you processed to MKV. Please post your MediaInfo here.
    (2) By selecting "Remove HD Audio" you are asking DVDFab to remove HD overhead and leave just a core (which is usually in neighborhood of 1510 Kbps).
    (3) As it stands now, DVDFab do not downconvert audio, but you can do it outside by demux->downconvert->remux process. I'm not sure what advantages of that would be, but it's doable.

Well when I look at it in mediainfo before it shows DTS (MA) and the same afterwards. Plus the files is the same size.

Which is....???? What is a bitrate?
Is it really difficult to post Media Info.
I do have a question BTW, do you make any changes after you select "Remove HD Audio"? or you just hit "start" button.

Sorry I am at work and the files are at home. When I get home I will post the mediainfo.

What I was looking at is the when I rip the dts-ma out of the mkv it ends up being almost 4gb for a 2.12hr movie. I just thought this was overkill on a movie with no action. I figured that regular DTS would be a lot less, I might be wrong.

Also...I tend to use anydvd and ripbot for making mkvs. In ripbot you can make a file that is fixed say 8gb and it comes out about there. In DVDFAB it is not like that. I believe after expermenting that fixed file size is only for video. It then add the audio and the file is a lot bigger than expected. Is this correct? What do you usuall put for file size? Is there a better way of doing this?

          Thanks for your help.

stsmith5150, I notice the same thing with some movies. For example Up. The original BR is in DTS-HD Master/5.1. No matter if I choose the "Remove HD Audio" option or not, I end up with the same results.

Two tests, one with the "Remove HD Audio" option checked and the other not; same results for both:

            Audio
            ID/String : 4
            Format : DTS
            Format/Info : Digital Theater Systems
            Format_Profile : MA
            CodecID : A_DTS
            Duration/String : 1h 36mn
            BitRate_Mode/String : Variable
            Channel(s)/String : 6 channels
            ChannelPositions : Front: L C R, Surround: L R, LFE
            SamplingRate/String : 48.0 KHz
            Resolution/String : 24 bits
            Language/String : English
