DVD Ripper Best settings for highest quality DVD rip to file?

Hi folks. I'm kind of new to all this ripping. I wanted to know how to get the best possible quality rip from a DVD. Not sure what file type or settings to use. Thanks.

Well if you want to know that you need to post what will be used to play the files with and the formats that it supports as well. Also all we can do is suggest a format to use as it up to you to figure out what you think is best settings as everyone likes different quality and settings.

Fair enough. I'm really looking to play around with some files in Adobe Premiere Elements 8. That's my main thing right now and I'd like to work with some half decent looking files. Thanks.

Well I'm not familiar with Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and do not know the formats it supports as you not post that. Maybe someone else on the forum here would be able to help

It pretty much can handle all these formats. What would you suggest if you could choose any of the ones in dvdfab? Thanks?

Well if it supports iso then I would use DVD to DVD main movie and select iso as the target as that does not compress and is the best quality or an avi file if you want to compress and use mobile function
