I have the newest version of Dvdfab, I'm ripping dvd's to mobile vob. I'm putting them onto a external hard drive and playing them on wdtv. The subtitles do not work. Is there a way to extract the subtitle to a different file? It did it when I did separate chapters but not when I make them into 1 big vob file. The wdtv wont play chapter after chapter unfortunately. Unless someone knows how to do that?

Subtitles will not work when you play VOBs directly. All the info on subs, audio, etc are held in the IFO's...
Use either an ISO image of the DVD (I am not sure whether the WD will pay these) or create a AVI file usin g one of the generic profiles and you then should be able to extract the subtitles to an external file."Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
