need beader audio bitrate for itunes

I'm trying to make music videos to play back on my itunes and ipod and so on.
I need beader than 128 bitrate.
any 1 know what options ther might be to achieve this.

Why would you need better than 128 for an iPod ????

You will be just wasting file size & making it hard for the iPod to play back correctly.

ah I know that.. but im trying to make fullquality videos for much more use than just ipod..
my goal it to have videos ate around 1500 tkbps 640x--- res whith around 256 bitrate .
I just use the ipod tuch for demoing and transfering the vid's thru networks.

Well, don't use the iPod profile then. Use one of the "generic" profiles.

but I baleave there are no profile for itunes whith higher bitrate than 128 .

cuz itunes use's mpeg-4 and all thear is is mp4..Is that the same thaing ? ether way .. it only suports 128 bitrate.

I culd be rong an not under stand the conversion format thaing
Is thar any other's that can be transfered to itunes ? (file format)
