    DVD Ripper FPS slows down to 0 when encoding

    Hello,

    When I use DVD to Mobile to encode, FPS slows down to 0 in some cases.
    I run DVDFav 7.0.8.0 on Windows 7 64 bits.
    • The problem occurs either at the beginning at the 2nd pass (when I use 2-pass encoding) or at the beginning of the 1st pass (when I use 1-pass encoding). FPS slows down to 0 and nothing happens anymore;

    • It occurs either using xvid or divx internal codec, with all DVDs, using the DVD or ripping it on HD, with 7.0.7.0 or 7.0.8.0 versions;

    • BUT the problem occurs ONLY encoding with some specific resolutions. It means all can be fine with some resolutions or fail with some scpecific ones (not always the same). Difficult to understand why the resolution can be at the origin of the problem !!!

    Thanks for help.

    Open your task manager and see if the Fabcore.exe process is still running. If not, or if the memory utilization on it is huge, you likely are experiencing a similar issue to the one I am.

    Also check your computer's event log for Application errors.
