BD Ripper (3D Plus) Bd to mkv

I ran dvdfab with output to mkv.. it ran through and said it was complete and when i open the file it has audio but the video is just a plain green background. anyone have any ideas on what caused this? and any possible suggestions on something different to try?

What software player are you using?

Download, install & tryy either VLC or Media Player Classic Home Cinema.

im using vlc player and ive played other videos fine.. any other suggestions? im new to all this so more than likely i had something set up wrong

oh and i have the newest version of dvdfab just in case u needed to know that.. approx. what file size should the finished mkv file be if the original movie is on 25gb blu ray disk?

Hmm any thing less than 8gig and the picture quality seems to suffer,but that just my opinion.

alright well im going to try and redo from BR to mkv one more time... i checked the tutorial on the website and i followed everything so i'll have to report back when its finished.
