BD Ripper (3D Plus) 8.0.0.2 Latest BluRay to MP4/H264 tests

Just tried tha latest DVDFab and got some nice surprises.

H264 encoding looks gooood. The stuttering/dropped frames has all gone.

    The sound is in sync.

Only problem is the 5.1 sound where the centre channel gets moved to the right channel. Exact same roblem as on the DVD to H264 5.1 conversion that has existed for a year since 6.0.2.0 approx. Use Stereo.

However this is a real step in the right direction. Well done Fengtao and team. I have critised them for very slow bug fixes but it appears they have made real progress with this latest release.

V 8.0.0.2 needs double time to encode as V 7.0.9.3

V 8.0.0.2 needs double time to encode MKV/H264 as V 7.0.9.3 (with same configuration and same Blu-Ray Disc)

    V 7.0.9.3: 2-3h
    V 8.0.0.2: 5-6h

Experiment with your A/V Codec set up in Common settings of DVDFab

Nice, wish I had the same though. Only had time to try the ipad 1080p preset but the result is identical to what I've always had with Blu-Ray to mp4/h264 I'm afraid. Whole film encodes fine, picture quality looked pretty good on ipad profile, audio in sync with lips but just the frame rate issue again (playback on the same PC that did the encode). Tried with DXVA decoder which it defaulted to and then installed CoreAVC (clutching at straws) but same result.

Just tried it, same thing. So close yet just the slight frame issue. Can it be anything to do with region selection? Most of my Blu-Ray are region B or ABC (so I select B). Just tried one of the few region A locked ones I have and it seemed pretty much spot on.
