DVD Ripper 8002 crashes at encoding start

8002 solved my GUI & DVD to DVD crash in other forum but the crash encoding from hdd to mkv.h264.audiocopy is still happening, it was working great with 7506, when I disable Cuda no crash happens. Report sent also.

    Edit: Driver 258.96

      8.002 crashing

The new ver 8 is crashing on me to at the start of incoding. Saw that I might need to update video driver so I did, after the 2nd crash. but dvd fab is still crashing after the video update. I have a Geforce GTX 460 video card.
I was converting planet 51 to mkv with mp3 and audio at 150%. The lines below are the dvdlog.

Try using all software for the A/V Codec

          8.002 crashing

I turned off the cuda and used the software encoder and all seems to be working at the moment.

The CUDA crash problem will be fixed in next version. For now, please don't use your customized profile like mkv.default, use mkv.h264.audiocopy instead.

              8005 still crashing

Seen the new release and read the changelog but 8005 is still crashing at the start of encoding with the mkv.h264.audiocopy profile. Bitrate 1100, 1 pass encoding from the hdd. Running an NVidia GTS 250 driver ver. 258.96
              Also sent crash report in.

EDIT: Uninstalled ver7 and 8 and ran ccleaner, reinstalled 8005 and it seems ok now.

Seems like I was having the same problems ripped a BD.
I have a GTX 460 and now v8.0.0.5 of DVDFab.

At the start of ripping the app would just shutdown. I tried turning the CUDA encoder/decoder to Software but no change. Although during my playing around, sometimes instead of crashing the app would stick at 0.2% of the rip and the encoding frame rate would drop to zero.

Anyhow, reading the reply above I tried with the mkv.h264.audiocopy profile instead of my mkv.default one. And it worked.
I can change the bitrate of that profile and ripping still works.
What I can't do is save the settings as mkv.default since the ripping crashes again.

For me and my 8800GTX it still don't work. With Software A/V yes, but this will take 7-9 hours for one BluRay movie. That's why I want use CUDA. But I think they fix the audio out of sync issue I had.
