    Converting from the downloadable youtube

    Hi guys - experimenting with the new version...
    Converting from the downloadable youtube Dr. horrible episode2 (flv)
    new converter is still losing audio sync on this file in the generic mp4 audiocopy profile.
    I tried with all defaults (1 pass, etc) - loses sync
    Also tried changing to 2 pass and forcing a fixed size (incase that triggered other syncing mechanisms) but still lost sync
    - Its as if the vid stream is running slow? Should I be playing with the FPS?

    Let me know what other things I should try/do to provide useful feedback (I'm not fussed about these files being converted, but I'd love to have a working ripper/converter

    oh- I checked playback with both VLC and WMP11 just in case it was the player

    hey - looking at those media info files...
    look at the media times!
    Original file: Overall duration 13:07 Video duration 13:07 Audio duration 13:07
    1pass-defaults:Overall duration: 13:04 Video duration 12:42 Audio duration 13:04
    2pass-limited: Overall duration: 12:59 Video duration 12:37 Audio duration 12:59

    So... something is definitely screwing up the timings...
    The audio tracks are short, and the video tracks are even shorter

    edit: finished a dvd rip - direct from disk, mp4 audiocopy 1 pass, all defaults, size limited to 4.3gb. PERFECT!! great work!

      Are you using "deinterlacing"???

        Not intentionally... (I didn't select any switches but if they come set, then thats what it was doing)

        For testing purposes, I wanted to run as much as possible exactly as supplied on the configs (with this sort of stuff of course its so easy to make weird things happen when you play with the settings

          Please select "deinterlacing" on "edit" page and try again. If wouldn't help, you would provbably need to re-allign streams.

            ok - doing the h264 audiocopy profile all defaults except ticking the deinterlace box.. will past the media info here where in it finishes!
            locked up at 98.45% done - timers keep ticking, but the output file isn't getting bigger and the % hasn't changed for 10 mins
            *sigh* try again
            Humm output file seems intact... audio is out of sync still, media info pasted below...
            I notice the audio time now matches the original (13:07) but the video stream is still too short (12:53)
