I was involved in a post discussion today, looks like it might have been removed?? Was regarding issues with the PS3 default settings not playing back properly. I was going to try some settings someone had suggested, but cannot find the post.
Therefore I'll re-post my issue:
Ripping DVD with default PS3 settings, placing files on USB HD FAT32 formatted with PS3 folder structure. PS3 sees the files file, however when they are launched they do not play (just a black screen).
I think someone mentioned this might be an issue with the audio encoding and suggested a different setting.
PS3 VOB passthrough works fine, however for longer movies they go over the 4GB file limit for FAT32.
Using the latest version of DVDFab & PS3 software.
