why does it convert 2 times?

Converting a .avi to mp4 and it converts 2 times in the same session, why is this is? It takes twice time for the same job...

If version 8, because you most probably have it in the queue twice,

If version 7, you may have it set to 2 pass encoding. The first pass generally does an indepth analysis and the second the encoding and usually gives a better quality file.

I'm having a similiar problem.. I set it for 2-pass in settings but it only says 1/1 in the progress screen? Does it do 2 passes in 1 now?

I have the most recent version.
