Ok I'm wanting to make sure that I'm not waisting HD Space.
I have chosen the Profile, generic.mp4 h264.aac. I then choose to edit this profile. There is a section called -Video Format:h264 with three choices,
Encoding Method, Fixed Bitrate, and Fixed File Size. Always Fixed Bitrate is chosen and there is a preset number of kbps that is always highlighted?
Is this the recommended bitrate for this particular file? Is any higher than that just a waist?
When should you do a 2 pass?
I have been doing certain DVDs that I like and what I think are very good quality, at 2500 kbps, and sometimes 2 pass.
Can you give us all here some details on Why and what are the best choices?
Thanks,
Leon
