BD Ripper (3D Plus) What would be the best format to rip a Blu-Ray for playback on a PS3 (PS3 or MT2S)

Currently I use the PS3 setting when ripping a Blu-Ray for playback on a PS3. I disable cropping and change the resolution to 1920X1080 @ 1.50. Recently someone suggested to rip using MT2S. Where PS3 rips the Blu-Ray around 5 gig, MT2S rips around 20gig, but is this any indication of quality? THANKS for any help.

Quality is in the eye of the beholder.

M2TS will be the original quality of the BD. However, you should know that the PS3 will reject some video (VC-1) and audio (anything better than AC3) in a file. If you have something that works you may want to stick with it.
