Trying to rip various things to watch on my ipad but with everything i try ( bd, dvd divx) the audio lags way behind the video. is there a better software option i should be using?

Sync Problem

Please try to install DVDFab 8.0.2.4 Beta at http://www.dvdfab.com/mlink/download.php?g=DVDFAB_BETA.
Then, open Common Settings->General->A/V Codec, set video decoder as software and set video encoder as software, then convert again to see the result.
Some A/V sync problems are caused by the layer break which is not present when the DVD is ripped to the hard disk. So please copy movie to hard drive firstly, then do the conversion.
You also can use another audio channel and convert format ( like "Generic" option, choose "Profile" as "generic.mp4.h264.aac") to have a try.Comment
