BD Ripper (3D Plus) Ripped Content

In the past I've always used another software to rip my DVD and BD content to the Hard Drive prior to using DVDFab to convert the movie.

I would think that it shouldn't matter what I use to rip the content, as long as it plays correctly once on the Hard Drive, correct?

I've always been able to play my ripped content using VLC player without a problem.

If using another software package to rip content from the disc to the Hard Drive, is there an expectation of problems with DVDFab conversion?

Should not be problems but you never know unless you try.

Well I'm going to give it a shot both ways and see if I can solve some of my problems. Thanks.
