Since going from 8.0.2.0 to 8.0.4.0 when I rip a dvd to generic format, I cannot play the file using windows media player. It works with VLC but not media player. I'm not sure what has changed in this new version.
I think the default is H264.audiocopy and this version does not play in media player now. If I choose H264.MP3 that works fine. Just trying to figure out why the default generic avi is not playing now in Media player.
Also does not play in quicktime too. Files created prior to 8.0.4.0 upgrade play in media player just fine.
