DVD Ripper CUDA for MPEG2 is failing.

I've just tried both 8.0.3.2, and 8.0.5.0. CUDA for MPEG2 decoding is not working under either version.

Here's the internal log output for such a failure from 8.0.5.0:

    2m 45.64s:

I'm trying to decode a title within a DVD ISO image to an XViD+MP3 AVI.

I've tried out H.264 encoding with Software+CUDA with DVDFab, and that works fine, so CUDA does work with my card. (I've also used other CUDA applications, so I knew that.)

This is very specific to using CUDA to decode MPEG2.

It essentially just barely ticks over at about 1.7fps for a few seconds, and dies with an errorbox. Had to switch it back to Software.

Can we get a fix, please?

My card is an EVGA GTX 275 Co-op Edition.

Bump. CUDA for MPEG2 is not working as described above. Any disc.

    Please advise.

      Please don't bump your thread.

You seem to have included enough information for the developers except you did leave out the version for your installed video card driver. I don't use CUDA but the most common problem I read about is poor driver implementation by the video card companies. You might try making sure you have the latest drivers.
