Photo Enhancer AI Sharpen Controls

Ok, I am seeing three controls on the screen for this module. There is: (1) Reduce Noise, (2) Sharpen, and (3) Fix Over Compression. Can anyone explain these? I have a vague notion of what reduce noise and sharpen are, though I don't really know what the distinction is between the two. I have no idea what Fix Over Compression is. Can anyone enlighten me? And am I safe in assuming that as I slide the control buttons to the right that increases the "effect" of that particular control?

Hi，
A higher value means a bigger change. However, it is not the case that the larger the value is, the better it is. It is also related to the quality of the source photo itself.

Thank you for that! Any chance you could tell me what the Fix Over Compression function is? I mean what does it do (or what does it correct)?

While an image was overly compressed, it could have a quality loss problem. And the "Fix Over Compression" feature can help you improve the image quality and the file size will be increased.
