Installation Installation Fails

Package downloads ok, installer runs but ultimately fails on the summary screen with:

'The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install'

Mac Mini 2011 - Lion 10.7.1

This is a known problem.
Do not expect a fix until after Oct. 8th.
Unless a member can come up with a workaround.

I have downloaded the so called update DVDFab for mac on the 9th of oct but it gives me the same problem. Goes through the whole process but the minute you click install it says
'The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install'. I am using a macbook pro with Lion OS 10.7.1
