DVD/BD Ripper Conversion to MKV fails

Just got The Maltese Falcon on BR. AACS 17. USA version.

Tried to rip as mkv pass through-- it gives me an error message as below:

You are going to try "Blu-ray Ripper" option.: 20:20:11
Conversion: 20:20:11
Source( 00001.m2ts ): 20:20:11
Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(509.01), type(128), id(13), get module_error(509.00 0 94214): 20:20:11
Process failed!: 20:20:12
