Software Conflicts DVDFab locks up with internal SATA BR burner

    Hi,
I can not get DVDFab to work at all with an internal pioneer BD-RW BDR-206D SATA, just installed 2 weeks ago.

If I have any disk (DVD or blu ray) in the drive or insert it after I start dvdFab, dvdFab locks up instantly and locks the drive also, I have to force quite DVDFab then I can eject the disk also.

My DVD IDE drive works fine with DVDFab.

I tried .8 and the new .9 beta all same results.

    I have a
    2008 Mac pro
    2-2.8 quad cor chips
    14 gigs of ram, 800mhz ddr2
osx 10.7.2 with all the latest updates

I sent a support request with no response to date
    Thank You!!!

I'm sorry, but this is not problem of DVDfab for Mac, this is compatibility problem of Mac OS.
Try to use a 110 v hub to connect your internal pioneer BD-RW to let it work.

            Hi all, update

            1. DVDfab freezes on any of my 2nd drives inside my 2008 Mac pro.

            2. DVDfab only seems to work with the first primary internal drive (in my case IDE, primary one). It freezes up on 2nd IDE or SATA all internal to Mac pro!

            3. I did get a external case (firewire 800/400/USB, but using firewire 800) and it works fine.

Now the issues (even tho the above is an issue but at least it is working):
            1. Ripping a blu-ray takes a LONG time

            2. Converting video from one format to another just hangs on several files that I have!!!!

            3. Ripping some blu-ray's just hang (like my #2)

            4. Have not tried much else because these 3 are major problems.

            Now the good
            1. DVDfab 5" movie player is really nice (so far from what I tried)!!!!
