Blu-ray Copy How long does it take to make a copy?

    Hi,

    New user here.
I've paid for subscription, even though it says I'm still on trial version.

How long does it take to make a copy of a Blu-ray movie to a Blu-ray disc?
I've clicked main movie, X-Men: First Class, with DTS-HD.

    Source blu-ray to Blu-ray rewriter.
Currently it's been running over 3 hrs and it says 15%, task time left 19 hours.

Is something off, or does it really take an entire day to copy one moive?

It depends a lot on the specifications of your computer and whether you are compressing to BD25.

      Yes, compressing to BD25.

      Model Name: iMac
      Model Identifier: iMac9,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
      Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
      1 TB Serial ATA5; 7200 rpm
      Number Of Processors: 1
      Total Number Of Cores: 2
      L2 Cache: 6 MB
      Memory: 4 GB
      Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
      Boot ROM Version: IM91.008D.B08
      SMC Version (system): 1.37f3
      NVIDIA graphics
      OS Leopard 10.6.8

I could increase the memory to 8 GB. Would that help?
I only run DVDFab without any other programs running or surfing the net.

Why does it take so long to copy a movie? I'm trying to copy X-Men: First Class, and it takes about 5 hrs?
