Blu-ray Copy USB Blu-ray rewriter vs Firewire blu-ray rewriter

I have an imac that accepts firewire 800 and USB 2.0

I'm currently using a LG BP06 portable super multi blue rewriter that has a 2.0 USB double wire.

Will using a Blu-ray rewriter that uses a firewire 800 make a faster rip and burn?

If so, what Blu-ray rewriter brand model would you suggest?

I'm interested in the answer to this as well. How's the burner you're using now working out?

Works fine, but it's really really slow.
So I'm wondering if the burner is slow or is it because of the type of wire... USB vs Firwire.

Maybe a burner that uses firewire may be faster?
