Blu-ray Copy My MAC started making coasters

I've been a happy and long time user of DVD Fab and never had a problem until today. I've been using DVDfab for Windows, and, out of every blurry disc I backed up, I never had a coaster.

Last week, I bought a MAC Mini. an i7, 8 Gig RAM model with a 500 Gb HDD. Machine works great. love it.

So, being I love DVDfab, I purchased my licenses for it. I backed up 3 movies, all without an issue.

Now, I am trying to backup my disc called "Rush - The Time Machine 2011". It ripped to my hard drive fine as an ISO, but, I am on attempt #4, and, EVERY single disc I try to burn, somewhere in the middle it just hangs. Wont go any further. Doesn't error out, but, just pauses and won't advance. I wind up having to hit cancel, therefore, ruining my disc.

So, i don't know if it is a problem with this ISO (although, the movie file plays perfectly fine on the computer), if it's a problem with the way DVD fab ripped it,..etc,..etc. I'm at a loss right now. After every failure, I rebooted the MAC to see if that would work

I am in the process of copying this EXACT ISO over to my windows machine to see if it can be burnt there. i find it odd that either this is the only problematic movie, or, if this is the 1st in many issues I am going to see trying to use my MAC.

Not sure which log to post, so, here is some info below

Here are the last 3 failed attempts (log). Doesn't look bad.

    Hi GaryJ73167
I do not have a Mac, but have you tried the latest version found here and do you have the same results.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

I had no idea a new version was out.

Well, even though, I packed up my Blu Ray drive and am taking it back. For many reasons.

First, is, after doing more research, I am seeing LG and Pioneer drives are suggested. The one I have is a Memorex.

Secondly, I never really cared for how the drive door would open and close on this. I know. It's a small thing, but, it just wasn't smooth. It would make a bang when it opened, and a BANG when it closed. Just sounded cheap. I dunno. I'm picky.

Thanks again for the quick reply. I'm concerned because i didn't know there was a new version out though. Shouldn't the software alert me to new versions automatically?

The software only alerts you to a new "Production" version, not betas. It is wise to keep your eyes on the beta releases on this forum as that is where a lot of the problems get resolved BEFORE the next production release.
